It offers complete Exchange Web Services (EWS) functionality — create, update, move, copy and delete items and folders, send messages and meeting requests, manage appointments, contacts, tasks, notes and journals, handle recurring appointments, delegation and impersonation, inbox rules and retention policy, synchronize folders and items, subscribe to pull, push and streaming event notifications, query free/busy and availability, set out of office, and use Autodiscover. Messages can be downloaded as .eml or .msg files and uploaded back to the server.
Supports Microsoft Exchange Server 2010, 2013, 2016, 2019 and 2025 as well as Exchange Online / Microsoft 365, with basic authentication and OAuth 2.0 using username and password, client secret, device code or authorization code. The library does not require Microsoft Outlook or any other third party application to be installed.
