tik4net NuGet Package

Manage MikroTik RouterOS devices from .NET over ten connection variants: the binary API (plain and TLS), REST (HTTP and HTTPS), Telnet, MAC-Telnet, and WinBox — either as an encrypted terminal or as the structured native M2 protocol (experimental), each reachable over IP or directly over the MAC layer for a router with no usable address.

SSH is the eleventh, in the separate tik4net.ssh package.

All of them behind one connection contract, with three API levels on top: a low-level raw command API written in the transport's own language, an ADO.NET-like command/parameter API, and an O/R mapper with 172 ready-made entities that read and write correctly from RouterOS 6.49 to 7.x. Typed connection interfaces and capability flags state what each transport supports, and a feature a transport lacks is refused with an exception that names it rather than failing mid-command.

Also includes RoMON relaying (reach a router through a neighbouring MikroTik), Safe Mode, MNDP device discovery and byte-level wire tracing.

Targets netstandard2.0 and net8.0. The O/R mapper was distributed separately as tik4net.objects / tik4net.entities before 4.0; since 4.0 it is part of this package.
